The Housekeeping Support Worker (HSW) is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and team members. This includes waste management, patient transport, and support services that contribute to infection control and overall hospital safety. The HSW is knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures, equipment, materials, and hospital layout.
Specific Work Routines are itemized in the environmental services department and manuals.
