Job summary

Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC seeks a dedicated cleaner to maintain the hotel’s cleanliness and guest comfort. You will perform routine housekeeping duties throughout the property, including guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high hygiene standards and a welcoming environment.

Experience is an asset, but no degree is required. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with benefits per the collective agreement and permanent employment status.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Clean and disinfect elevators.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic information on facilities.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
