Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is looking to fill Housekeeping Janitor roles for a remote camp located north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will have a particular focus on overall cleanliness of the facility and customer service to help ensure we maintain an efficient, effective working environment. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will be provided with transportation from Edmonton – working 14 days on and 14 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays. Note: This is anticipated to be a 3-month term position, with the potential for extension based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping of rooms and common areas.
• Duties will primarily consist of daily upkeep and cleaning of common areas, cleaning of all restrooms at the facility, dusting, window washing and general sanitation of sleeping quarters, laundering linens and towels, and vacuuming.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Strip and wax floors as scheduled.
• Ensuring work area is safe from hazards.
• Shoveling of steps and landings may be required.
• Work with team members to complete tasks or projects.
• Ensures all Civeo policies and procedures are followed.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Uses company motor vehicles as required.
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Must have experience waxing and stripping floors.
• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Position requires a valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract.
• Excellent comprehension and command of the English Language.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a variety of scheduling rotations.
