Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Saskatoon, Canada. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.

  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas
  • Make beds, change linens, and restock amenities in guest rooms
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in various areas of the facility
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and manage recycling
  • Organize and maintain cleaning supply closets and housekeeping carts
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested
  • Receive linen orders and organize linen on housekeeping area
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Camp Attendant, Janitor, or Chambermaid in a commercial setting could be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Good attendance record and reliability
  • Ability to follow established cleaning techniques and learn new procedures quickly
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
