Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for Rockcliffe Care Community in Scarborough. You will maintain a clean, welcoming living environment for residents and support the Long Term Care team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include thorough room and common area cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring privacy and respect for residents. This role emphasizes compassionate resident care and teamwork within the home.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial intelligence to screen and assess applicants for this position.

You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Community, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

• Provide Thorough Cleaning
• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
• Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
• Ensure residents' privacy is respected
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming

Who You Are

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
