Job summary

Promenade Retirement Residence in Orleans, ON, is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe living areas for residents and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning apartments and common spaces, operating floor care machines, and following residence policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas according to schedules using proper cleaning and sanitation methods.
• Clean Resident's apartments and common areas (furniture, kitchen, washrooms, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, windows).
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment.
• Strip, scrub, spray, and buff carpet and hard floors.
• Pickup garbage and transport to designated areas.
• Follow residence policies and safety rules; complete required documentation.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings; participate in Quality Improvement.
