Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Housekeeper in Toronto to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience and a basic education. You will perform duties across dining rooms, bedrooms, and common areas and use floor machines to buff and polish floors. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
