Job summary

Grey Eagle Resort & Casino in Calgary, AB is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cleaner to maintain clean front and back areas and uphold high standards in a fast-paced, smoking environment. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping team, you will promote a positive image, follow departmental policies, and ensure safety and quality in daily duties.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; WHMIS certification preferred; ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work long shifts; previous cleaning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or work-related equivalent.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not necessary.
• Working knowledge of floor machines (and any other relevant equipment).
• WHIMIS and Biohazard Clean up experience is an asset.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a physically demanding environment, and be familiar with a high-volume, fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to lift and lifting weight of up to approximately 55lbs, and able to handle repetitive movement.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Must be aware of and able to work in a smoking environment.
• Must have WHMIS Certification or be willing to complete it.

Responsibilities
