Job description

We’re looking for a kind, reliable person to support my 70-year-old mom, a widowed retired doctor living in Dundas. The role involves daily cooking, cleaning, laundry, and general household organization for a few hours each day, Monday to Friday.

She’s experienced some mental health challenges recently, so having consistent structure and dependable support is very important.

We’re looking for someone who is :

• Thorough and detail-oriented with household tasks
• A good cook who can prepare tasty, healthy meals (she enjoys spicy food!)
• Able to take initiative and work independently without constant direction
• Respectful of privacy and not overly chatty

In addition to helping my mom, the ideal candidate would also be able to work occasionally at my home in Westdale and my brother’s home in Dundas for similar housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.

This is a meaningful role for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in maintaining warm, well-run homes.
