Qualifications

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our Leduc team on a full‑time basis. In this role, you will perform cleaning duties in assigned areas to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors under the direction of the housekeeping supervisor.

What you’ll do
  • Follow cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) as outlined for housekeeping department.
  • Clean assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established housekeeping procedures.
  • Clean floors with dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, waxes, buffs, and disinfectants.
  • Perform emergency housekeeping when accidents occur.
  • Perform laundry duties such as wash, dry and fold.
Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal English skills to effectively communicate with all residents, visitors and at all levels within the organization (required).
  • Experience with housekeeping and/or senior living facilities considered an asset.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to cooperate with other employees and demonstrate teamwork.
  • Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, and buffers.
  • Knowledge of handling various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
