SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and versatile housekeeper to ensure the impeccable maintenance and smooth management of a condominium located in Old Montreal. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment, while also providing domestic and logistical support tailored to daily household needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Housekeeping and Organization
- Maintain general cleanliness of living spaces (surface cleaning, dusting, floor care).
- Perform deep cleaning, including bathrooms, showers, oven, terrace, and balconies.
- Keep the home tidy and well organized.
- Make beds and change linens as needed.
- Organize and rotate items in the refrigerator and pantry.
- Store and rotate seasonal clothing, prepare clothing for the chalet.
- Manage and maintain the wardrobe, ensuring personal belongings are always well kept.
- Care for furniture and delicate surfaces.
Laundry and Clothing Care
- Sort, wash, and iron clothing.
- Handle minor repairs and ensure proper garment care.
- Drop off and pick up clothing from the dry cleaner.
Cooking and Errands
- Prepare 2 to 3 simple, healthy dinners per week (ready to be reheated).
- Grocery shopping and running various household errands.
Domestic and Logistical Support
- Welcome and supervise contractors during maintenance or repair visits at the condo.
- Manage waste and recycling.
- Organize and clean the rooftop terrace and balconies.
- Maintain the SPA.
Pet Care (as needed)
- Take the dog to the veterinarian and grooming appointments.
- Two daily dog walks.
DESIRED PROFILE
- Proven experience in private household housekeeping, estate management, or luxury home care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Discreet, reliable, and professional.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Comfortable around animals, particularly dogs.
- Must have a vehicle.
