Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a flexible Housekeeper to support daily cleaning, client services and event setup across our sites. The role requires hands-on cleaning, stock management and customer-friendly service.

You will assist during events, including cloakroom duties and room setup for meetings, conferences and functions, and you must have Right to Work in the UK. A health and safety mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Flexibility to support daily cleaning, client services and event setup.

Working pattern

8 hours per day between 7am to 10pm. 40 hours a week. A fixed-term contract until 30/09/2026 only.

We are looking for a flexible and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. This is a varied role supporting daily cleaning duties, client services, and event setup.

Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, ensuring all areas are fully stocked with supplies and ready for client use. The role also involves providing support during events, including cloakroom duties and lift lock operations to assist client access and flow.

Additionally, the position requires setting up and rearranging rooms for meetings, conferences, and events, including moving tables, chairs, and other furniture as required.

Key responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Your role will involve hands on physical tasks that can require standing for periods of time, for example, Vacuuming carpeted areas if th ere are any onsite scheduled for cleaning, sweeping, mopping (if required), emptying bins and other tasks such as potentially washroom cleaning.
• If the site cleaning is during the day or night in open, public spaces, you may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed, for example, with taking queries linked to cleaning or any incidents/ issues reported.
• You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, physically fit, and able to adapt to different tasks as needed, working both independently and as part of a team.

Ideal candidate criteria

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• A smart phone is required to use our Timegate Time and Attendance system to pin in and out onsite when you are scheduled to work. There may also be tasks allocated to you which will require you to use the Timegate app i.e. to record cleaning entries and any other such duties as required.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous , but full training is required
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
