Job Description

We are hiring for supervisors for one of our retail locations with Queen's Hospitality Services with Aramark Canada.

In this role the successful candidate will oversee the daily operations including the training, development and performance management of the front-line employees. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our guests and team members, have an excellent experience from start to finish. They also demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, believe in championing a fun and safe work environment and contribute to a thriving workplace culture. The supervisor leads the team during operations focusing on serving perfect food and drinks, every time and with a sense of purpose and urgency.

The Hourly Supervisor is responsible for improving the profitability of Operations. This person will ensure the highest level of customer service, safety, sanitation, quality, and consistency while driving sales and controlling costs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Controls the labor costs by supervising daily staffing levels as needed while driving efficiency from all staff.
  • Retains control of production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.
  • Audits service and quality on a regular basis.
  • Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily.
  • Develops and implements strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
  • Supervises teamwork and service on a regular basis.
  • Supervises day-to-day employee issues in a professional manner while adhering to all Aramark policies and procedures.
  • Supports and implements training programs that develop skills to better serve guests, build repeat business, grow revenue, and improve morale.
  • Assists in annual employee reviews and supervises interim performance issues.
  • Maintains accurate adherence to Aramark's time and attendance procedures.
  • Ensures staffing level consistent with established guidelines and makes daily adjustments based on business needs.
  • All employees are trained according to company standards for safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous cafe or barista experience is an asset and preferred.
  • Proven exceptional guest service skills; ability to rally a team to deliver excellence to every guest on every visit.
  • Enjoy mentoring people; natural at supporting staff in their learning, including how to prepare perfect food to standard recipes or customized for guests.
  • Embrace change.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to deal well with a variety of people.
  • Initiative, good judgement, and decision making; responsible, reliable, and honest.
  • Love working in a team; a partner to get the job done in a dynamic fast food environment.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Education

Minimum 1-2 years experience.
