Responsibilities
  • Greet every guest with a warm, welcoming presence—both in person and over the phone—even during the busiest times.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain steady and efficient guest flow throughout the restaurant.
  • Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly and professional conversation.
  • Take reservations accurately and efficiently, both over the phone and in person, with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas—understanding that first impressions matter.
  • Quickly become familiar with all table numbers and maintain awareness of seating arrangements and server sections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven prior restaurant experience
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
  • Flexibly availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
