Job summary

A major health authority in British Columbia is seeking exceptional Hospitalist Physicians to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing complex inpatient and outpatient services, providing patient-centered care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across multiple hospital locations. Ideal candidates will be licensed with CPSBC and have a background in Hospital Medicine.

Qualifications

Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
CCFP or FRCPC certification (or equivalent) is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Experience in Hospital Medicine strongly recommended.
CPSBC-USA certified class of registration acceptable.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient care as the Most Responsible Provider.
Manage admissions, daily rounds, and patient care for various patients.

Job Summary

Fraser Health, British Columbia’s largest health authority, is seeking exceptional Hospitalist Physicians to join our dynamic team across 12 hospital sites. As a Hospitalist, you will play a key role in managing complex, high-volume inpatient and outpatient services while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Serving over two million people in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Home to 12 hospitals, including Level 1 and Level 3 Trauma Centres and BC’s first dedicated Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre.
Significant investments in hospital redevelopment projects, including Royal Columbian and Burnaby Hospitals, as well as Emergency Department expansions at Eagle Ridge and Peace Arch Hospitals.
A new Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre is under development, expanding opportunities for care delivery.

Role Overview

Hospitalist Physicians at Fraser Health provide comprehensive inpatient care as the Most Responsible Provider, managing admissions, daily rounds, and patient care for general medical, surgical, and specialist patients. This role demands:

Qualifications & Requirements:
