Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) seeks a Site Manager for the Community Hospital network. You will direct patient care services, lead operational planning, HR deployment, financial monitoring and quality management, and provide professional guidance to staff amid organizational change.

Reporting to the Site Director, Community Hospitals, you will ensure service delivery aligns with VIHA values and strategic direction while partnering with Indigenous health initiatives where

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant health discipline and five (5) years of managerial experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability in evolving needs and creative solution negotiation.
Ability to manage staff and budgets across multiple service areas.

Responsibilities

Direct patient care services and day-to-day patient care delivery.
Oversee operational planning, human resource deployment, and financial monitoring.
Provide professional guidance to clinical staff and manage quality assurance and education.
Lead change initiatives and ensure alignment with VIHA culture, values and strategy.
