Job summary

A community hospital is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide essential care and support to patients. The ideal candidate will hold a Personal Support Worker Certificate and be registered with the Health and Supporting Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSPCOA). Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and communicating effectively with patients and staff. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of patient populations.
• Current experience in a hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for patients and support patient flow.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities.

Current BCLS certification

Excellent communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Ability to work under pressure

Knowledge of Infection Control practices
