Job summary

TECSYS Inc. is seeking an Implementation and Business Process-focused Application Specialist to join our Professional Services team.

You will drive data collection, configuration, and customer needs analysis to define business processes and guide project success on-site with clients across North America. You’ll build rapport with customers, apply your software knowledge (training provided), and leverage your supply chain expertise to ensure smooth implementations of the Tecsys solution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct software implementation or consulting experience
• Experience defining business processes, configuring software, data loading, testing, and training
• Strong understanding of hospital supply and inventory management

About the Role

As an Implementation and Business process-focused Application Specialist in our Professional Services department, you’ll drive the data collection and configuration of the Tecsys solution collaborating with the project team to identify customer needs and define business processes. Teamwork is essential to what we do! You’ll build an on-site rapport with customers to guide them in their integration of the Tecsys software. Thanks to your application knowledge (we’ll train you!), consulting acumen, people skills, and supply chain expertise you will be a key contributor to a successful implementation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct software implementation and consulting experience working at a consulting or software company or 2+ years of being a product/solution specialist with direct software implementation experience working on the customer side
• Demonstrated experience in:
  • software implementation experience with Performance Tracking Inventory Management for MedSurg and operating room supplies and/or Point of Use (POU) systems
  • Business process requirement definition, software configuration, data loading, testing, and training
• Impressive understanding of hospital supply and inventory management
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting aptitude
• Flexibility and self-learning ability
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Due to the frequent travel involved in this role, a valid Canadian or American passport is required.
