Job summary

A health services organization in Coronation seeks a Food Service Worker to join the Nutrition Food Service team. Qualifications

• Physically capable to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs.
• Requires walking and standing for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine tasks associated with basic food preparation.
• Package and portion food items as per guidelines.
• Serve meals to patients and customers.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, and serving areas.

Skills

Customer service experience

Food service experience

Experience in a hospital or long term care environment

Inventory management

Knowledge of Industrial Food Service Equipment

Education

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent

Food Safe Certificate or equivalent

WHMIS training
