Job summary

Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare in Windsor, Ontario invites an experienced Director of Finance & Controller to lead financial stewardship, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with executives and Board on financial strategy, risk management, and governance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of statements.

The role requires CPA and a strong hospital finance background, with 7-10 years in senior finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration – Required.
• CPA designation – Required.
• Master’s degree in Business or Related Field – Preferred.
• 7-10 years of leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare setting – Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating and capital budgets.
• Lead annual budgeting process and multi-year financial planning.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of all financial reporting.
• Lead financial modeling, business analysis, and long-term planning initiatives.
• Present financial results, forecasts, trends and recommendations to the CEO, Executive Team, Finance Committee and Board.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and best practices.
• Coach Finance Team in performance of their roles.
