Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Bed Board Deployment Coordinator to support the efficient placement of deploying beds within Victoria Hospital and University Hospital. This role requires coordinating cleaning, transfer and discharge activities with housekeepers and maintaining bed board access and flow for the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year bed board management experience in a hospital setting is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 1 year completed in a post secondary Administration/Medical Office Administration Program is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated customer service focus.
• Well developed keyboarding/computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 45 wpm and experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Cerner Capacity Management.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Experience problem solving and working in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in conflict resolution skills and handling difficult conversations.
• Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety standards and working in compliance with related policies, Health and Safety Legislation, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Place deploying beds to Victoria Hospital and University Hospital housekeepers for cleaning, transfer, and discharge.
• Maintain bed board access and flow as a central resource for the client.
• Monitor timely follow up and completion of discharge cleaning.
