Job summary

A respected non-profit organization in Calgary is seeking a part-time Cook to manage dietary needs for residents at Agape Hospice. This role includes meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and coordination with kitchen staff. Candidates should have culinary experience, Safe Food Handling Certification, and ideally, a Journeyman Cook certification. The target pay range is $21.81 to $22.87 per hour. Accommodation may be provided upon request.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of prior related experience, with institutional cooking preferred.
  • Experience in coordination of dietary services desired.
  • Current Safe Food Handling Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating dietary needs.
  • Prepares and delivers meals according to needs.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the work area.
