Job summary

Wajax Corporation is seeking a dedicated individual to support the service department. You will operate a digitally controlled hone, perform basic calculations, and assist with routine shop duties in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The role requires high school education, knowledge of mechanics, and 6–12 months of experience. Forklift certification is considered an asset, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic mechanics and shop safety rules.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment with care.

Responsibilities

• Operate our digitally controlled hone; basic math skills required.
• Wash and clean all components as they come out of the hot tank.
• Bin locate all components.
• Assist in general shop cleanup when time permits.
• Operate all company equipment with due care and diligence.
• Support other business activities as required.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to protect self and others.

The Candidate

• Education: High School; Forklift Certification an asset
• Work Experience: 6-12 months
• Knowledge: Some knowledge of mechanics would be essential

Compensation:

Hourly pay range at 25-28/hr, with higher levels receiving increased compensation with Annual Incentive Bonus. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
