Availability: Successful candidates will be seeing clients within the availability of 1‑9 pm, 8‑8 pm or 7‑3 pm and required to work every other weekend.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment sheet, ensuring the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.
- Perform personal care within the provincial scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker, including skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, exercise, basic wound care, feeding (including special diets), and assistance with oxygen administration and medication reminder.
- Perform specialized, client‑specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
- Observe and document client conditions according to company standards; report unusual events or changes in the client’s condition to the immediate supervisor or office.
- Understand and implement infection prevention practices.
- Use Samsung or Android devices competently, maintaining accurate data entry and device security (password protected).
- Maintain confidentiality of electronic information and client data.
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore policies and procedures and quality activities in the company’s Quality Management System.
- Participate in proactive health & safety activities and report risks or concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information, disclosing only to appropriate Bayshore personnel.
- Complete other tasks as requested.

Education and Attributes
- Home Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required).
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- French proficiency required for positions in Quebec or where French is a service requirement.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
- 2 supervisory references, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening, and proof of being negative for TB.
- Proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID‑19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu may be required depending on provincial regulations.
