Yukon Government in Whitehorse is seeking a part-time Home Support Worker to deliver home care services, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in their homes.

Under the direction of Home Support Supervisors, you will provide personal care, home management, and respite care, working a 67.5-hour biweekly schedule. The role supports a 12-month eligibility list for anticipatory permanent, term, and AOC positions.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or community-based setting.
• Experience providing personal care and home management.
• Experience with respite care in a community setting.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the Home Support Supervisors, provide home support services to promote optimal functioning and quality of life for clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, home management, and respite care as needed.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality, work independently or with a team, and adhere to policies.

• Experience working in Home Care or community-based setting
• Experience providing personal care, home management, and respite care in a community setting
• Home Support Worker and or Nursing Home Attendant Certificate would be considered an asset
