Tony Janzen Proprietorship is seeking a Home Support Worker in Langley, British Columbia. This role involves providing care and companionship for an adult with mobility issues, facilitating personal care, and assisting with household duties.
The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications (CPR and First Aid) and be able to work a flexible schedule. A competitive wage of $24.50/hour is offered along with vacation benefits.
The Home Support Worker will provide care and companionship for an adult with mobility issues and chronic pain, administer personal care, support physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises, assist with grocery purchasing, plan and prepare nutritious meals, perform routine light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash dishes and make beds.
Completion of secondary school. CPR certificate and First Aid certificate required. Prior experience as a home support worker is an asset. Must be able to communicate in English. Must be a Canadian citizen or legally permitted to work in Canada. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays occasionally. May be required to do heavy lifting and drive to appointments. Punctual, dependable, reliable. Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, patience, honesty, good judgment. Strong references required.

Vacation: 4% of gross salary or 10 paid vacation days
