Wages: $23.00 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Answer call signals to provide personal care to the elderly such as aid in bathing essentials, personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Personal care and companionship.
  • Prepare meals and special diets, feed or assist in feeding
  • Assist and supervise exercise routine and outdoor activities
  • Test blood pressure, temperature, pulse and keep records.
  • Make bed and maintain the room tidy
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning or sterilizing medical equipment
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry and washing dishes
  • May accompany her to doctor’s appointments.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Employment requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Completion of relevant education or training program as a care provider or previous experience in a similar role.
