CBI Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) for the Bradford area. This position is part-time, based in Newmarket, ON, with an hourly wage range of $22.77–$25.88.

Provide client treatment, assist with therapy programs, and support home-based care to help clients stay independent and safe at home. The role requires a post-secondary OTA/PTA diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a post-secondary OTA/PTA diploma.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment.
• Strong communication and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Prepare clients for treatment and progress through therapy programs.
• Assist with therapy programs and activities of daily living.
• Set up, use, and disinfect therapeutic equipment; ensure good working order.
• Apply modalities such as heat, ice, ultrasound, EMS, TENS.
• Document clearly in client communication records.
