Responsibilities

• Bathe, dress, feed and assist children with personal hygiene as appropriate for their ages.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Organize age-appropriate recreational and educational activities, including games, crafts, reading and outdoor play.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Assist children with daily routines, including rest periods.
• Support children's emotional well-being and social development.
• Perform light housekeeping duties directly related to childcare, including tidying play areas and children's belongings.
• Communicate with the parents regarding children's activities, behaviour and well-being.
