• Provide supervision and guidance to ensure the child’s physical safety, emotional well-being, and general security at all times.
• Support the child’s daily routines, including preparing and serving nutritious meals and performing light housekeeping related to the child.
• Monitor the child’s schedule, including school, rest, extracurricular, and recreational activities, in coordination with parental instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment conducive to a teenager’s health and development.
• Encourage and model good personal hygiene, organization, and time-management habits.
• Support the child’s emotional and social development by offering encouragement, a listening ear, and positive reinforcement.
• Implement behavior guidance strategies aligned with the parents’ values and instructions.
• Facilitate age-appropriate educational enrichment through activities such as reading support, hobby development, discussions, and supervised outings.
• Ensure the child’s punctual arrival to and from school, appointments, or extracurricular activities, providing transportation when necessary.
• Maintain a record of relevant daily routines, academic updates, and any notable emotional or behavioral observations.
• Accompany and supervise the child during visits to libraries, community centers, parks, or other venues, promoting healthy social and recreational interaction.
• Observe for signs of emotional or behavioral challenges and communicate concerns promptly to the parents.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required to support the child’s development and well-being.
Employment requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of relevant education or training program as a care provider or previous experience in a similar role.
• First aid certification is required.
