Job summary

A leading personal care provider is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. The ideal candidate will assist clients with various personal care tasks, including hygiene and meal preparation, and must have proficiency in English. A high school graduation certificate and experience with special needs children are preferred. The position offers flexible hours, ranging from 3 to 80 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience with special needs children, especially autistic children.
• First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Criminal record check and immunization records required.

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
