Job summary

The LCBO is hiring Holiday Customer Service Representatives to support stores across Ontario during the November 16 to December 31, 2026 period. You will greet customers, process transactions, and contribute to a festive shopping experience in a bustling on-site environment.

Role includes training, potential advancement opportunities, and participation in store campaigns. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required for this seasonal position.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (valid SIN, Student or Work Permit).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bilingual EN/FR is a bonus.
• On-site, Fort Frances location.
• Holiday availability: Fridays evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers using the POS/Cash system, ensuring an outstanding experience.
• Encourage donations as part of Spirit of Sustainability campaign.
• Participate in Customer Experience and Postal Code Survey campaigns.
• Receive inventory, replenish stock, face products on shelves, keep store clean and safe.
• Lift cases up to 40 lbs/18 kg and stand for extended periods.

Job Posting Description:

The LCBO is seeking Holiday Customer Service Representatives who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in our retail stores across Ontario from November 16 to December 31, 2026. If you are interested in becoming a friendly, helpful go-to expert for customers during the holiday season, this role is a great opportunity to make a positive impact. Through paid online training, you will build your customer service skills and discover the world of wine, beer, cider and spirits, giving you the confidence to support customers and make their holiday shopping experience memorable.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

• Serve customers using our POS/Cash system, promptly and responsibly, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Ask for donations as part of our Spirit of Sustainability campaign.
• Participate in the Customer Experience and Postal Code Survey campaigns.
• Receive inventory, replenish stock, face-up products on shelves and ensure our store is clean, organized and safe for all.
• Lift cases of various sizes and weights (up to 40 lbs./18 kg) repeatedly while standing for long periods of time.

About You:

• Comfortable supporting customers and working effectively with teammates.
• You must be legally allowed to work in Canada (have a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit).
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is a bonus.

Required Availability:

• Friday (5:00 p.m. - Close).
• Saturday and Sunday (available all day for a 4-to-8-hour shift).

Holiday Availability:

• Christmas Day (December 25).
• Boxing Day (December 26).
• New Year's Eve (December 31).

Additional Availability Additional work may be available during the week (Monday - Thursday), based on store needs. Schedules are posted two weeks in advance. Extra shifts may come up on short notice.
