Qualifications

The Holder of Record (HoR) is responsible for ensuring the safety of their Work Group members with regards to the Work Protection Code and Procedures of the client including plant, equipment and personnel safety.

The HoR ensures Work Protection is applied to protect workers from energized hazards.

Duties of a HoR consist of ensuring equipment is isolated and de‑energized and authorizing workers on equipment to be worked on. Procedural Compliance is essential as well as strong ability to communicate verbally and written.

The Holder of Records opportunity is expected to start no earlier than December 2025 or later than January 2026.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reports to the Holder of Record Superintendent
  • Reviews policies and procedures with workers to ensure understanding
  • Providing Holder of Record duties for Outages, Projects & Modification work at clients work site.
  • Verifying Work Protection isolations when required.
  • Provide oversight, observation and coaching to workers as required.
  • Maintain and track schedules & training.
  • Ensure PC1’s have been submitted for the task they have been assigned.
  • Ensure Whole Body/Bioassays are being performed by due date.
  • Ensure all of the clients Work Protection Procedures are being followed.
  • Other duties as assigned to assist the operations team and department.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Previous Qualification in Level 3.2, 4 or 5 Work Protection or LOTO Training would be considered asset
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years’ experience in a trade
  • 2+ years’ experience in Reading Flowsheets or Drawings
  • 2+ years supervisory experience would be considered an asset
