Onni Group in Coquitlam is seeking a skilled Hoist Operator for the afternoon shift (12:00 pm - 8:00 pm) and Saturdays (9:00 am - 5:00 pm). You will operate hoisting machinery, perform safety inspections, and assist with light labor on site under the Site Superintendent’s supervision.

The role requires a valid Hoist Ticket, construction site experience, and proper PPE. We offer competitive pay, extensive benefits, and a friendly team culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Hoist Ticket.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hoisting/elevating equipment to transport employees between floors.
• Perform daily pre/post inspections of hoist.
• Conduct light general labor and site cleanup.
• Sweep hoist and hoist deck; ensure deck is clear of materials at shift end.
• Coordinate with foreperson regarding garbage and deliveries.
• Troubleshoot hoist gate contacts and hoist issues.
• Be flexible with break times and follow WSBC safety requirements.
