A leading technology firm in electric aviation is seeking a HIRF & Lightning Certification Engineer. The HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Field) & Lightning Certification Engineer is responsible for providing design and testing support to other design teams on all the electromagnetic effects: EMI, HIRF, Lightning and static. You will be part of a small team acting as subject matter experts on these topics, providing design guidelines and assistance in test preparation and execution to the broader engineering team. Your curiosity will be leveraged to conduct both certification and research projects to continually improve design practices of both the aircraft and its systems, using BETA’s state-of-the-art test facilities. Your time will be spread between theoretical or analytical documentation and practical or manual work on test fixtures and test execution.
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
