Job summary

Fraser Health seeks an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC). Fellowship in lower extremity surgery (hip/knee) is required, with expertise in hip arthroplasty approaches, revision arthroplasty, and robotic arthroplasty.

The successful candidate will work with the orthopaedic group, participate in UBC medical education, and help establish an elective practice in Abbotsford.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in lower extremity surgery (hip and knee).
• Experience with multiple hip arthroplasty approaches, revision arthroplasty, and robotic arthroplasty is desirable.
• Experience with unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, navigation and 3D printing would be assets.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the orthopaedic team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC).
• Collaborate with physician colleagues and allied medical professionals on patient care and quality improvement initiatives.
• Open an elective practice in the Abbotsford region and participate in the UBC medical education program.
