Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. is seeking a Mechanism Repair Specialist at our Saint-Laurent workshop.

You will perform repair activities of circuit breaker control mechanisms, disassembly, cleaning, inspection and component replacement, plus mechanical and electrical testing. The role requires reading mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams, assembling components from drawings, drafting repair reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Formación

• You must already have a work permit allowing you to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
• You have a professional diploma in electromechanics or equivalent.
• You have at least one year of experience in activities related to industrial mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electricity, and industrial mechanical and electrical manufacturing and assembly.
• You have experience with a manual crimping tool, a drill, an electric screwdriver and a vernier.
• You are able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams, and to assemble components from assembly drawings and component lists.
• A background check will be required prior to hiring.
• A diploma as an electrical technician or electrician, a licence to use a travelling crane or a licence to use a forklift are assets.
• Frequent communications are required with internal and external partners, clients and stakeholders located outside Quebec. Knowledge of English, in addition to French, is required to meet the operational requirements of the position and to ensure effective collaboration and customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the repair activities of the circuit breaker control mechanisms.
• Disassemble and clean the mechanisms and their components.
• Inspect components and replace components that need to be inspected.
• Perform the required mechanical and electrical tests.
• Write the repair reports.
• Perform mechanical assembly of other high voltage equipment.
• Perform electrical assembly of other high voltage equipment items.
• Perform any other tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines.
