School Overview

Nanaimo Christian School (NCS) is a thriving, Christ-centered PreK–12 learning community on Vancouver Island that invites students to belong, believe, and achieve . Our mission is to pursue Christ-centered educational excellence that equips students to live biblically, act responsibly, work cooperatively, communicate effectively, and achieve success in who God has called them to be.

Nanaimo Christian School is a vibrant and growing community of more than 700 students from kindergarten to grade 12, along with a thriving preschool. Rooted in our mission to provide Christ centered education that equips students to impact the world for Jesus, we seek to be a light on the hill in our city and beyond.

Our strategic plan is built around three pillars: Belong, Believe, and Achieve. We strive to create a place where students know they belong in community, are invited to believe in Christ as the foundation of life, and are encouraged to achieve their God given potential in every area of learning.

We believe education is about transformation of heart, mind, and purpose. Our classrooms are places where faith and learning are inseparable, where relationships matter more than programs, and where staff walk alongside students as mentors and disciples.

Our vision is to see graduates who love God, serve others, and lead with wisdom and humility. We are pursuing a compelling vision for the future, a flourishing K to 12 community that grows in excellence, strengthens connection, and expands opportunity, all while remaining deeply rooted in Christ.

If you feel called to help lead a community that seeks to shine as a light on the hill, we would love to hear from you.
