Job summary

Chestermere High School in the City of Chestermere is seeking a full-time High School English teacher to join Rocky View Schools. You will teach grades 10–12 and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

This position starts immediately and runs until January 27, 2027. Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate; external applicants should provide a recent reference letter and a vulnerable sector check within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: submit your final practicum report.
• External applicants must provide a professional letter of reference from their most recent supervisor, on company letterhead, dated within the past 18 months.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of starting employment.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements
