Health Match BC facilitates physician recruitment for Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster and Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, BC. We seek four full‑time Emergency Physicians to join our Columbia Emergency Physicians Association.

Candidates must have CCFP (EM) or FRCPC (EM) certification and be eligible for CPSBC licensure, with PALS/APLS within five years and ABEM eligibility. High-volume, high-acuity ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CCFP EM or FRCPC EM certification required.
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• PALS or APLS certification within five years is required for regional work.
• ABEM certification eligible for consideration.
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Department coverage across Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) and Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) as part of Columbia Emergency Physicians Association.
• Maintain ~13 shifts per month with scheduling flexibility.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, physician leadership, education, simulation, and geriatric emergency medicine initiatives.
• Contribute to inclusive hiring practices and support diversity of sites and populations served.
