HGC Alberta is seeking experienced truck drivers to operate and drive trucks transporting goods and materials in Alberta to Toronto runs. The position offers steady miles, competitive pay, and a mix of long‑haul and regional routes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive trucks, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Oversee vehicle condition, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must hold a CDL Class A.
  • Minimum of 2 years OTR (Over‑the‑Road) experience.
  • Clean CVOR, abstract, excellent safety record (PSP), and good DAC records.
  • Clean police clearance.
  • Strong documentation knowledge: accident/incident reports, trip reports, trans‑border documentation, maintenance and repair reports, inspection reports (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip), driver logbook, bill of lading.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English; reliable, organized, flexible, and a team player.
  • Ability to pick up and deliver goods in a timely and professional manner.
