Job summary

WSP is seeking a Group Manager to lead our Lower Mainland Heritage team, based in the Vancouver area. You will provide senior project management and mentorship across archaeology projects of varying size and complexity.

You’ll work with the Heritage Director and executives to grow services, manage budgets and resources, foster Indigenous relationships, and ensure rigorous health and safety while delivering quality outcomes for BC and Yukon clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 10+ years of consulting experience in archaeology or related fields.
• People management and leadership experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven business development and client relationship skills.
• Health and safety leadership abilities.
• Ability to review proposals and technical reports from a business and risk standpoint.
• Strategic and business planning experience.
• Financial forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities.
