Kelowna General Hospital in British Columbia is seeking a hematopathologist to join its growing division. The role encompasses the complete spectrum of hematopathology including transfusion medicine, coagulation, and diagnostic interpretation of bone marrow and lymph node specimens.

The successful candidate will provide regional consultative services, engage in teaching, and participate in laboratory oversight and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills in hematopathology.
• Ability to teach and supervise laboratory staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum hematopathology services including transfusion medicine, coagulation, and lymphoid pathology.
• Interpret bone marrow samples and tissue/lymph node biopsies for lymphoma and other disorders.
• Coordinate regional consults, participate in teaching, and perform laboratory oversight and administration.
