Job summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to assemble and deliver patient meals, prepare and deliver trays, and support warewashing. You will stock supplies and assist with related duties in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will obtain a Food Handler’s Certification, know WHMIS and HACCP regulations, have customer service experience in food service, and possess strong organization and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Willing to acquire Food Handler's Certification.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial food service equipment.
• Customer service experience preferable in the food service industry
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with volunteers and patients, both verbal and written.
• Position requires long periods of standing, repetitive actions, and significant amounts of bending and lifting.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record

Job Description

Responsible for the assembly and delivery of patient meals. Duties include preparing and delivery of patient trays, cleaning & warewashing, organizing and stocking supplies and other duties assigned.
