The position is based in Squamish, BC, with potential travel for field work. Candidates should have Transport Canada AME M Training Diploma and be prepared for shift flexibility, including weekends.

Qualifications

  • Possess Transport Canada AME M Training Diploma.
  • Hands-on line experience on Summit Helicopters fleet preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Canadian passport and driver’s license.
  • Ability to take direction and learn quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts maintenance on aircraft or components as directed by the Director of Maintenance/AME Technical Lead.
  • Performs maintenance per airworthiness standards.
  • Ensures all paperwork for tasks is complete and accurate.
  • Reads and complies with all maintenance alerts and memos.
  • Identifies SDR situations and reports to Production Supervisor.
  • Troubleshoots faulty systems to determine rectification path.
  • Performs applicable servicing release with Shop Certification Authority.
  • Cleans hangar and maintains workspace.
  • Travels with aircraft/apprentice if required away from base.
  • Assists with sheet metal/avionics repairs as needed.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
