Services Routiers Unipro Ltée in Dorval, QC is seeking a heavy tow truck driver/operator for our specialized response team. You will tow and recover heavy vehicles, participate in complex recoveries, and work with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong technical skills, good judgment, and professionalism, with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class 5 minimum)
• Class 1 or 3 is an asset
• Experience driving heavy vehicles
• Heavy towing experience required
• Good physical condition and ability to work in demanding conditions (weather, variable hours, emergencies)
• No criminal record (verification required)

Responsibilities

• Tow heavy goods vehicles involved in accidents or breakdowns
• Participate in complex recovery operations (rollovers, major collisions)
• Use the equipment provided effectively
• Collaborate with law enforcement, transportation authorities, emergency services, and customers
• Fill out intervention reports and ensure procedures are followed
• Inspect equipment before each shift and report defects
• Apply safety measures at all times, on the road and in the work area
