Job summary

Leadingedgeme in Grafton, Ontario, is seeking a Heavy Machinery Dismantler to dismantle heavy construction equipment and prepare components for export. The role requires working onsite, physically demanding outdoor work, and safe handling of tools and equipment.

You will load equipment into shipping containers, optimize space, and collaborate with a team to meet shipping schedules. Prior heavy equipment experience is preferred and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial or mechanical setting.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, compactors, and other machinery.
• Use hand and power tools to remove components for shipment.
• Load equipment and parts into shipping containers safely.
• Position and secure machinery to maximise container space for transport.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections before operation and report issues.
• Collaborate with team to meet shipping schedules and targets.
• Uphold Health, Safety & Environment policies and maintain a clean work area.
