Qualifications

  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • Similar experience may include Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, or Heavy-Duty Mechanic.

Heavy Equipment Technician

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 42.5 hrs./week

What You’ll Do
  • Perform safety inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of heavy‑duty and niche municipal equipment.
  • Work on vac trucks, hydro v‑acs, street sweepers, refuse/recycling trucks, and more.
  • Collaborate with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient service.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
What You Bring
  • Valid 310T Truck & Coach or 421A Heavy Equipment Technician e
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
