Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a skilled technician to evaluate, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment across multiple locations. You will use John Deere Service Advisor and other systems, document work thoroughly, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has heavy equipment experience and a Journeyperson certification in construction/forestry equipment, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Candidates with heavy equipment mechanical experience are preferred.
• Journeyperson certification in construction/forestry equipment is desirable.
• Customer service mindset and safety-focused approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the working condition of equipment and diagnose issues.
• Assemble/disassemble, order parts and repair equipment.
• Use related tools and computer systems for maintenance tasks.
• Document all actions on work orders with time taken.
• Assess hazards and ensure safety and standards are met.
• Document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis in computer systems.
• Locate and order parts from parts personnel using catalogs.
• Road test equipment and verify operation after service.
