Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic

Location: Leduc, Alberta

Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic seeking a stable, long-term career with a strong focus on quality and safety?

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, highway trucks, asphalt plants, pavers, rollers and other various off road equipment
  • Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
  • Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
Qualifications
  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician from a recognized authority
  • Experience with heavy civil construction or highway paving equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License and a 3-year driver’s abstract
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions with diagrams or sketches
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Conditions
  • Based in Leduc, Alberta with limited travel to field operations
  • Local applicants only (no camp)
  • Base hourly rate: $29.40 to $49.00/hour
